Desperate Housewife

Well, apparently I am having no issues acclimating to my new role as stay at home mom. Tuesday, I was in my pajamas until 1:30 and watching reruns of The Hills on MTV. I hadn't even brushed my teeth. I quickly called my girlfriend Meredith and left her a message saying, "Call me immediately. I need to talk to someone with a career."

Yesterday, 5pm rolled around and I realized that I had done nothing but stare at Ashley's little face all day long. (Trust me, I don't think that was a waste of time -- just a little different than the usual weekday I am accustomed to!) I did make it to my facial last night (I believe I mentioned that appointment in an earlier post.) But by the end of the treatment, I couldn't wait to get out of there and get home to my girl. By the time I walked in the door, I had started crying because I missed her so much. Ah, the post-partum has started to set in!! JOY!

We have had a lot of fun visitors this week ... here are some pics!








Tomorrow is Ashley's first doctor's appointment. It is also her 1 week birthday! I guess its not appropriate to hire clowns and ponies at this age, so I will try and hold myself back.
